Christwire: The Jesus-Powered Onion

Christwire.org is a fake news site that reads like a slightly (oh, ever so slightly) exaggerated version of fervent right-wingers' daydreams.

Frankly, I'd never heard about it until today's New York Times article on it. The article, and Christwire itself, are worth a look.

So, in a world gone increasingly crazy and with news organizations increasingly looking like parodies of themselves, I welcome the savage sense of humor of this site. Christwire, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert. There just might be hope for this country yet.
